I’ve been using one of these for 20 years and its still going strong.
The only maintenance I’ve ever done is wiping it off with a single square of toilet paper every time I use it.
A Gilette “Styler.” It’s okay for its price. It isn’t a scam.
I have a Philips from 16 years ago that is perfect. I forgot it on a trip and purchased the “new” version and it’s crap. Total loss of trust now for that brand.
