I’ve had two wisdom teeth removed as a teenager since they were growing horizontally. The two others were left there because they were pretty far in, removing them was riskier and they weren’t causing any trouble. Gum was tender lately and this morning I realized this is because a wisdom tooth just erupted.

Moral of the story: there’s no age for coming out.

Unless you are actually using it to chew, it will eventually rot. Should get it out meow.

I had a wisdom tooth I didn’t use for a long time. Nothing bad happened with it, I just had it out eventually as it was sort of annoying. As long as you keep it clean, there’s no reason it should just rot.

I brushed and flossed mine twice a day and it just rotted away regardless. Funky!

I think so, it was a long time ago but that’s what I remember the reason was, like chewing stuff cleans off plaque and when it’s not being used to chew it just builds up.

Probably I’m just misremembering though ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
