It’s been 10 days. How long until they fix it?

Why don’t you fix it? Be the change you want in the community. Practice some tactical urbanism. Do the following:

    1. Get a ladder, a socket set, a polo shirt, and a high-vis vest.
    2. Go here and set up the ladder.
    3. Unbolt the sign, rotate it 180 degrees, and rebolt it.
    4. Remove ladder and leave site.

No one will bother you. No one suspects someone in a high-vis vest, especially if they’re just working on some mundane object that no one would ever bother stealing.

Don’t wait for others to make your community better. Go out and fix it yourself.

Would they still qualify as a dullster? That seems mildly exciting.

Although part of the strategy should be to maintain a dullster vibe while fixing the sign.

Eh. Fixing it should be a dull thing. You know it’s only a relatively recent idea that towns or cities would be responsible for street maintenance. Historically, you and your immediate neighbors were responsible for paving the street in front of your home or business. Doing your part to maintaining public infrastructure should be a dull ordinary thing.
