Kind of funny that it was stapled despite there being no need for one.

I had this happen to me once. The person ahead of me changed the settings on the copier and before I knew it there were like 20 pages single stapled.
This would flag foul play to me, the mystery is how many pages were removed rather than the addition of a staple.
