I just moved into this house and was back there to think about what to plant and was quite happy to find this. It’s behind a big pine tree and I can’t see it from the windows or patio. I was just back there a week or two ago so it was quite a surprise.

I think they came from my neighbor’s yard. But the interesting part (to me) is it’s the neighbor on the opposite side and there’s no peonies in between.

I might get some more and turn that area into a flowerbed with some ground cover.
