  • I’m not an electrician and I haven’t looked at that part of the code before specifically but I have read in various sources over the years that it may be against code in some places, especially to run them in the same run/conduit. This may have made it into the newer US NEC, it would certainly make sense.

    But even still, if you run separate conduits (which would in all likelyhood make them code-compliant) running them parallel risks interference with data transmission .

    Which is a pain in the ass for doing old-work installs of low voltage.
